Yes. Clients will only be able to see your profile if you submit a proposal to them. They cannot simply view the profiles of everyone who is on our platform.

When a project is well suited to your skills and experience we will email you. You can also login to the platform at www.commtract.com to view available projects at any time.

Clients can choose to have their project open to everyone on the platform or just shown to well-matched Commtractors.

You are free to attach documents to either your online profile or proposal. This might be examples of your work or references. However it is important to remember lots of clients are time poor and like brevity.

Once a client has decided which Commtractor they intend to use, the next step is to formalise the engagement. Clients have the option of a standardised agreement (your ‘Commtract’) or their own legal document. You will be sent an email to confirm you accept the details of the agreement.

There is a very simply online tool to submit a proposal.

Importantly, we are a marketplace. We show clients all the proposals even when they do not meet the proposed budget, duration or skills.

Once your proposal has been submitted the client can see your email address and phone number. Typically they will directly engage several Commtractors before deciding who to use.

We add 12.5 percent to your budget. Clients are aware of this when they join our platform.

All invoicing goes through our platform. Once you get to this stage of the process we will help with next steps.

Commtract pays you direct. We make payment to you within 48 hours of receiving it from the client.

We are closed platform only for professional communicators. All our experts are individually vetted and their work is closely monitored.

Your project can be sent to all of our experts registered on the platform, or you can narrow the field down to meet your project brief.

Yes. We can match the project against our database and select a small number of suitable Commtractors. Only they will be able to view the project and submit a proposal.

It is free to post a project, but once you enter into a Commtract with one of our experts we add a 12.5% service fee to their rate.
