NOVEMBER COMMTRACT OF THE MONTH: NEW ZEALAND TOURISM INDUSTRY AOTEAROA
Our Commtract of the month is with New Zealand Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA). TIA is the independent body representing all sectors of New Zealand’s diverse tourism industry.
Last month, TIA posted on Commtract, requesting experts with digital communication and writing expertise to help them develop engaging content about some of the exciting things happening in New Zealand’s vibrant tourism industry. Everything from personality profiles, to lifestyle stories about the work tourism operators are doing to support their communities, to entrepreneurial business articles.
This was a popular project with 14 proposals submitted from all over NZ. TIA have engaged Christine Langdon in Wellington, and another Commtractor from Christchurch. Christine is an experienced communications consultant, and highlights her strengths in strategy, writing, and media. She holds a passion for social entrepreneurship, and is the co-founder of The Good Registry, a community and website to put the heart back into gift giving.
They’re now working together to produce content to lift the profile of the tourism industry through positive stories of how tourism contributes to NZ society, environment and economy. The content will be used on a range of platforms, including social and traditional media and we look forward to sharing it.
TIA is planning to engage more of the applicants soon.
